The full details will be included in our first official announcement this December, following the FEPTO Council’s approval of our plans in November.

In the meantime, here are some key points to help you prepare:

Dates

  • FEPTO Conference: from Friday afternoon May 9th – until Sunday at noon, May 11th, 2025
  • FEPTO Annual Meeting: from Sunday afternoon, May 11th – until Thursday at noon, May 15th, 2025.

Local Host

The main host is SPJLM, closely collaborating with ARPsiC. The two Romanian psychodrama associations have a long history of working together, co-organizing the national conference and psychodrama newsletter.

Event Venue

The events will take place at the Platinia Conference Hall, conveniently located just a 10-minute walk from the Old Town and Central Park. Traveling to Romania

At the time of writing, visa requirements for different countries are as follows:

  • No visa required: Schengen countries, the United Kingdom, United States, Canada, Israel, Australia, Singapore
  • No visa required for holders of biometric passports: Georgia, Moldova, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia, Ukraine
  • Visa required: Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkey, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan

Holders of valid, multiple-entry Schengen visas do not require an additional Romanian visa.

Getting to Cluj

  • By plane: Cluj’s Avram Iancu International Airport (CLJ) is the second largest airport in Romania, located just 9 km from the city center, with easy access via bus or taxi (between €10-20).
  • Budget option: You can fly to Budapest Airport and take a shuttle to Cluj (6-8 hours). Shuttles are available throughout the day.
  • By car: Cluj is well connected by European road E60, linking it to Bucharest, Brașov, Oradea, and Budapest.

Language: The official language of the event is English.

Accessibility: The whole conference venue is wheelchair accessible.

Accommodation:  The conference venue houses a luxury hotel, but we will recommend more budget-friendly nearby hotels in a future email. Additionally, Airbnb and Booking.com offer a range of accommodations in the area.
