Presentation of the Topic

”Psychodrama and Values.: Addressing and Integrating Diverse Perspectives”

Values play a profound role in shaping individual identities and relationships. Values act as guiding principles that influence how people make decisions, navigate conflicts, and experience the world around them. In psychodrama, values are often at the core of personal dilemmas, emotional struggles, and interpersonal conflicts.

Moreover, in an increasingly globalized and diverse world, we are often confronted with a wide range of differing, and sometimes conflicting, value systems. Addressing the topic of “Values” in a psychodrama setting allows for the exploration of these differences, helping participants reflect on their own values, understand others’ perspectives, and find ways to bridge cultural and moral divides. Psychodrama, with its emphasis on role-playing and enactment, provides an ideal platform for this exploration, enabling participants to step into the roles of others, confront value-based conflicts, and integrate diverse perspectives in a safe and supportive environment. This topic is both timely and essential for fostering deeper self-awareness, emotional resilience, and more meaningful social connections in an increasingly complex world.

FEPTO – Federation of European Psychodrama Training Organizations

FEPTO is a federation that wishes to support the development of psychodrama training in Europe. It has 87 training and accrediting organizations, from 28 countries. Website: http://fepto.com

SPJLM – Societatea de Psihodramă ”J.L. Moreno”

SPJLM is a psychodrama training institute and association of psychodrama practitioners, with  30 years of existence. The headquarters, located in the city of Cluj, offers an administrative office that serves 20 trainers, 8 supervisors, 60 members and many students and practitioners. Website: http://psihodrama.ro

ARPsiC – Asociația Română de Psihodramă Clasică

ARPsiC is a psychodrama association and training institute founded in 1995, with its initial headquarters in Arad, then in Sibiu, and currently in Bucharest. At present, ARPsiC has over 200 members, providing training and supervision through a team of 9 active specialists. Conference Venue

The events will take place at the Platinia Conference Hall, conveniently located just a 10-minute walk from the Old Town and Central Park.

Fees and Registration

Early Bird Fees (until March 15th, 2025):
  • Members or Trainees of a FEPTO-member institute: 150 Euro
  • Workshop leaders: 100 Euro
  • Other participants: 175 Euro
Late Bird Fees (after March 15th, 2025):
  • Members or Trainees of a FEPTO-member institute: 200 Euro
  • Workshop leaders: 150 Euro
  • Other participants: 225 Euro

The registration fee covers access to all conference activities, certificate of attendance, coffee breaks, and the Saturday evening dinner.

Payment Method

Upon submitting the registration form, you will receive an email with bank transfer details. Please note that your registration will be considered complete only after we confirm receipt of your payment.

Conference Cancellation Policy

We understand that plans can change. Please find our cancellation and refund policy below:

Cancellation Requests
  • Before March 1, 2025: Full refund of the registration fee, minus a 10% administrative fee.
  • March 1–April 15, 2025: 50% refund of the registration fee.
  • After April 15, 2025: No refunds will be issued.
Transfer of Registration

If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your registration to another participant free of charge until May 1, 2025.

Event Cancellation

If the event is cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., force majeure), full refunds will be issued.

Conference Information

Conference Venue: Platinia Conference Center, Cluj-Napoca, Romania

Language: The official language of the event is English. 

Accessibility: The whole conference venue is wheelchair accessible.

Coffee Breaks: Coffee breaks will be served twice a day in the event foyer, included in the registration fee. Kindly refrain from bringing your coffee into the conference room, as the venue imposes penalties for spills.

Meals: Dinner on Saturday evening (buffet-style) will be included in the registration fee. For the other meals, participants can use the various restaurants, cafeterias, or the premium grocery store situated in the same building.  

Parking on the underground floor is free for the first hour, and then it costs 10 RON (approximately 2 Euro) per hour.

Wi-Fi: Free high-speed WIFI is available throughout the venue. ID and password will be provided closer to the event.

Accommodation

Accommodation for the event will be the responsibility of each participant.

The conference venue houses a luxury hotel (150 Eur / night / apartment), but we recommend more budget-friendly nearby hotels, as found on Booking.com:
